This Lagoon 470 is a standard-class catamaran featuring four private double cabins, each with its own en suite bathroom. It offers plenty of space, with a length of 52 feet. Built in 1998, it has been sailing in the San Blas Archipelago for over 20 years. It is the ideal sailboat for exploring the Guna indigenous archipelago.
The Gitano del Mar is perfect for exploring the turquoise waters off the beaches of San Blas. It’s fast and powerful on the water, with excellent balance and remarkable stability, thanks to the easy maneuverability of its sails.

Aboard Gitano del Mar, your journey becomes a unique experience, which includes:

The Captain Jepi is French and has been sailing in the San Blas archipelago for over 20 years. He knows the archipelago very well and would love to show you the islands and the Guna people, their culture and customs. He speaks French, English, Spanish, and a little Italian.
Lady Yei, a Guna native, she is the hostess and cook on board. Whether it's international or local dishes, she prepares delicious meals! She speaks Guna, Spanish, and some French and English.
A third crew member is on board as a general assistant. He speaks Spanish and English.
