Ti Kay 40′

«From the moment we took off in a small plane from Panama City and landed on the runway at Corazón de Jesús, our adventure exceeded all expectations.

Captain Eduardo welcomed us with a big smile and, shortly afterward, took us to the beautiful, comfortable, and very well-equipped Nautitech 40′ catamaran, TiKay.

When we arrived on board, Adriana, an extraordinary chef, had a delicious breakfast waiting for us while they were putting the finishing touches on preparations to set sail.

Our five days at sea were filled with adventure, unforgettable conversations, a wide variety of music, and exceptional cuisine. In addition, Eduardo and Adriana shared with us a wealth of knowledge about the San Blas Islands and the culture of the Guna people (formerly known as Kuna Yala).

His more than 15 years of experience sailing through San Blas was a true treasure trove of information that made our journey even more special and enriching.

We just returned from a wonderful 3 day stay aboard the Ti Kay, Eduardo and Adriana were amazing hosts! Captain Eduardo was very attentive to my sensitivity to seasickness and went out of his way to keep us in calm waters and on beautiful beaches. I am truly grateful for his kindness and for helping me overcome my fear of being at sea. The catamaran, beautiful and very well maintained, had everything we needed to enjoy a perfect stay. And what to say about Adriana's cooking? She is an exceptional cook, and we always looked forward to the next meal. We really appreciated the ingredients she used, especially the fresh seafood and produce delivered directly to the boat by the Guna people. We ate and drank very well, in excellent company! The islands of San Blas are absolutely stunning, and the people who live there are very welcoming. We totally recommend this adventure: it will remain forever in our memories. A sincere thank you to Eduardo and Adriana for this unforgettable experience!

Eduardo - Thank you very much for the letters from Panama! Much appreciated; I will check them out when I have time. Sorry for taking so long to get back to you about the letters. After dropping you and sweet Adriana (fantastic cook!) off, we flew to Bocas for 5 nights. Good surf spot, but nothing compared to San Blas. We returned to Cali and arrived at 2am on Monday 16/03. I had 3 days to prepare for a midnight flight to Papeete, Tahiti... A Tahitian trio greeted us as we entered the terminal. We took a cab to the marina (10 minutes), and Guy (owner/captain) met me at the dock. “The Dragonfly is a 3-cabin Lagoon catamaran (2016); we are finishing some repairs and plan to leave for the Tuamotu in 2 days.” It's hot and humid here; French is the language (quite a challenge...). I will fly back to Cali on 04/20. We had a wonderful trip with you and thank you for your professional and luxury service. There are many places in the world to visit, but San Blas will always be at the top to repeat. You guys are the best. I wish you good winds and lots of water under the boat. We spent 5 days at TiKay with our 14 and 16 year old daughters. We all had an amazing time. Edu and Adri were the most wonderful hosts; by the end of the week they felt like family. The boat was spotless, the food was AMAZING and their enthusiasm and friendliness was off the charts. We explored spectacular remote islands and also spent time with the local Kuna communities, with whom Edo and Adri have a very close bond. We snorkeled, sailed, kayaked, swam, read, played Spanish dominoes, explored, played with nurse sharks 😉 took naps in the sun, played soccer with the local kids, and never once logged on to Starlink 😉 We traveled quite a bit as a family, including by boat, and our daughters said this was “the best trip yet”. A huge thank you to the TiKay crew for sharing this special place with us - we will remember it always!

We just finished a five night stay at the Ti Kay with the amazing hosts, Adri and Edu. We had high expectations for this trip, and they were exceeded in every way. Adri and Edu made us feel welcome and took care of every need. Adri's cooking was phenomenal; we ate delicious food at every meal. Edu took us on adventures, calling us his “seals”. They both took great care to connect with us and make our 15 year old daughter feel welcome and included in everything we did. The places we sailed to were incredibly beautiful. Our day to day followed a similar routine: breakfast, sailing to a new awesome place, activities, lunch, more activities, dinner, dinner, games, sleep... and repeat! Adri and Edu know almost everyone thanks to their 14 years of experience immersed in this community, which made us feel that we were living a unique experience, probably unrepeatable with any other charter. We were very sad to leave and we missed our host friends very much. Thank you Adri and Edu.

We just wanted to say a big thank you for having us. It was an amazing experience and we enjoyed every minute of it. I can't imagine how many hours of work went into organizing all of this, but we hope you were able to rest for a few days before welcoming your next guests.
