The selected catamaran is the Gitano del Mar – Lagoon 470, with a Franco-Guna crew.

A typical 3 or 6 days itinerary * :

Day 1 

 Flight Panama City to San Blas / Corazon (45 min) taking off at 08:00 am (consult us for pricing)

  • Welcome aboard.
  • 1 to 2 hours of sailing toward the Hollandes Cays
  • Anchoring in turquoise waters: swimming, snorkeling, and relaxing on the beach
  • Lunch prepared with the catch of the day (fish, lobsters, giant crabs, etc.) and/or meat with rice or vegetables. Cheese selection – tropical fruits
  • Explore the surroundings by dinghy or paddle board
  • Dinner on board or on the beach. Meet fellow sailors

Day 2

  • Breakfast on board.
  • 1.5 hours of sailing to Isla Camgombia or Mordbedup: crafts (molas, winis, etc.).
  • Full preparation of coconut rice: first, grate the coconut! Lunch based on your own preparation + salads and much more.
  • Snorkeling on the reefs or fishing.
  • Dinner on board – followed by a beach bonfire party.

Day 3

  • Breakfast on board.
  • Sail 1 hour to the Coco Bandero island group, a beautiful spot for snorkeling or paddleboarding.
  • Lunch.
  • Sail 45 minutes to Nargana – Corazón de Jesús.
  • You can visit the community or go upriver with the local boat.
  • Dinner on board or at a local restaurant (at the guest’s expense).

Day 4 (end of the 3-day cruise)

  • Breakfast on board.
  • Flight back to Panama City (45 minutes) departing from San Blas at 8:45 AM.
  • Local airport / hotel transfer available upon request (additional cost).

Day 4 (for the 6-day cruise)

  • Breakfast on board.
  • Sail towards the large coral reef bank west of the Hollandes Cays (Miriyadup).
  • Anchor and enjoy playing volleyball with the Guna people.
  • Great place for snorkeling and paddleboarding.
  • Lunch on board or on the beach.
  • Explore the reef outside the barrier (weather permitting).
  • Dinner on board.

Day 5

  • Breakfast on board.
  • Sail the Cayo Guanidup area.
  • Visit the traditional Mormakeutupu community.
  • Meet the mola creators in their homes.
  • Meet the community chief (if available).
  • You can purchase local crafts.
  • Lunch on board.
  • Sail from this area to Isla Verde.
  • Dinner on board.

Day 6

  • Breakfast on board.
  • Last day at this beautiful anchorage.
  • Sometimes, spotted eagle rays are seen.
  • One of the most beautiful snorkeling spots in the Western Caribbean is just north of this island (weather permitting).
  • Lunch on board.
  • You can collect shells on the beach of the small islet south of the anchorage.
  • Sail to Corazón de Jesús.
  • Visit the local community: school, homes, “sailatura,” bar with billiards, etc.
  • Dinner on board or at a local restaurant (at the guest’s expense).

Day 7

  • Breakfast on board.
  • 8:45 AM: flight back to Panama, landing at 9:30 AM.

Not Included:

  • 45-minute flight from Panama to San Blas: USD 300 round trip per person during high season. In the low season, the cruise begins in Cartí (land transportation available, please inquire).
  • Landing taxes ($24 per person), payable in cash, or entry to the territory ($22 per person) and boat ride ($60-70.00 per person) if land transportation is used.
