Faro was built by famous French boatyard Lagoon in 2004 and has been very well maintained.

A great boat to explore the islands in comfort, served by a friendly and casual crew.
You captain – but also your sailing teacher if you wish – Charlie, South African living on the seas for more than 20 years, has crossed the Atlantic 4 times and works in San Blas for the last 6 years, he knows the area perfectly and will show you the most beautiful islands and the best snorkeling sites. Charlie is really charismatic, full of energy and willing to share his knowledge and anecdotes experienced on board. He speaks English, Spanish and Afrikaans
Luz, sailor-cook, is Colombian: after studying cooking she worked in several restaurants. She has been living and working on the sea for 3 years, and has experience working on big yachts in The Bahamas. She loves to try recipes from different parts of the world and her specialty is to cook with the catch of the day. She will always try to surprise you with delicious food, cocktails and desserts. She speaks Spanish and a bit of English

Faro – February 2024: Carrie MacDonald
Charlie, Luz, and Miguel gave us the trip of a lifetime. Luz is an amazing chef,the food was absolutely fantastic, sorne of the best l’ve ever had. Charlie and Miguel took us to amazing beaches, reefs for snorkeling, taught us ali about the islands,showed us tons of cool wildlife, and kept us laughing. 1 truly can’t express how awesome this trip was and how much we appreciate everything the Faro crew did for us. They became friends and we already miss them and our time aboard Faro. Can’t recommend them enough.
